In a world where most digital interactions happen through screens, I wanted to explore what happens when the body, specifically the hands, becomes the primary medium of interaction.

Weave is a hand-gesture system that lets people shape and mix music in real time, using their hands like an orchestra conductor.
Getting gestures to feel natural was tricky. Early tests lagged, and the audio was choppy.
Refining thresholds, tweaking the mapping, and adding fade effects made the interaction smoother and more responsive.
Exhibited at MFA IxD Studio, where over 150 people engaged with the installation.
